These dessert tasting oats are packed with protein and nutrients. Prepare them the night before to grab & go in the morning!
- 1/4 cup carrot, washed and grated
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 TBSP walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 TBSP raisins
- 1 TBSP shredded coconut
- 1 TBSP golden flax seed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp allspice
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
- dash of Himalayan salt
- zest from half an orange (optional)
Mix all ingredients together in a mason jar and place in the refrigerator to soak overnight. In the morning, give it a quick stir, adding more liquid if necessary. Top with orange zest and enjoy.
