These dessert tasting oats are packed with protein and nutrients.  Prepare them the night before to grab & go in the morning!

  • 1/4 cup carrot, washed and grated
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 TBSP walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 TBSP raisins
  • 1 TBSP shredded coconut
  • 1 TBSP golden flax seed
  • 1/2  tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
  • dash of Himalayan salt
  • zest from half an orange (optional)

Mix all ingredients together in a mason jar and place in the refrigerator to soak overnight. In the morning, give it a quick stir, adding more liquid if necessary. Top with orange zest and enjoy.
